CREST® — ASCRS's Premier Educational Portal
ColoRectal Educational Systems Template, commonly known as CREST®, is the premier online educational portal for physicians interested in colorectal surgery. A complimentary benefit for all ASCRS members, CREST® offers health care providers an interactive venue to review all aspects of colorectal disease to ensure their delivery of the highest quality of patient care.
CREST® is part of ASCRS' Online Learning Center, now hosted on a new platform that offers an improved, user-friendly experience to easily access CREST® modules.

Features of CREST®
CREST® is a dynamic online learning program offering numerous features:
- Topics are arranged by the six pillars of colorectal disease: perioperative, malignancy, anorectal disease, benign disease, pelvic floor and miscellaneous.
- Each topic offers learning materials in a variety of mediums, such as narrated presentations, videos, journal articles, and book chapters, to encourage learning in the ways users find most helpful.
- A post-assessment and evaluation is available after the user completes all of the required content in each topic.
- Optimized to be mobile friendly, the program renders equally well across computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Review the program materials anytime, even after you've already completed the module.
CREST® Weekly Curriculum Modules
New modules, called Weekly Curriculum, are introduced regularly. These smaller modules are available as a member benefit for review. The modules are no longer eligable for credit, but they are free to members! To find "Weekly Curriculum" modules, look for the "Weekly Curriculum" icon. Browse the Weekly Curriculum menu regularly to access fresh content.
CREST® for Program Directors
CREST for Program Directors has been updated! CREST for Program Directors (CREST PD) is an educational component to the CREST program. CREST PD is a system for program directors to assign content and track residents' progress. The comprehensive system assists program directors by streamlining administrative tasks while enhancing their residents’ education at the same time.
An essential teaching resource, CREST PD allows program directors to assign specific learning modules for completion. The system provides at-a-glance tracking reports that highlight their residents’ progress.
Residents have access to essential, updated content for each pillar of colorectal surgery and program directors enjoy the easy functionality to ensure their residents are progressing as needed.
To purchase CREST PD, download and send the completed order form to the ASCRS Executive Office by email to ekuhn@fascrs.org or fax it to (847) 686-2251.

The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
