Education for ASCRS Members

ASCRS offers multipe educational resources for a solid foundation in the evaluation and management of colorectal disease. These feature multiple online educational activities including the ColoRectal Educational Systems Template (CREST), the Colon and Rectal Surgery Educational Program (CARSEP) and webinars. All of our educational resources are available to members in our online learning center. 

ColoRectal Educational Systems Template (CREST)

ASCRS members have exclusive access to CREST. Learn on the go with CREST modules on specific topics in colon and rectal surgery.

Colon and Rectal Surgery Educational Program (CARSEP)

CARSEP® X, a new, updated version of one of the most valued educational tools available to ASCRS members, makes it easy to see which areas you need to study and gives you the tools to improve in those areas. This program also features a 100-question final self-assessment exam that simulates the board exam experience.

ASCRS Members-Only Webinars

Complimentary as part of your ASCRS membership, ASCRS webinars are presented live by subject matter experts. These brief, yet extremely informative, web-based education sessions are accessible after the event through CREST®. 

Accreditation

The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeos (ASCRS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. ASCRS takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
