2017 Annual Scientific and Tripartite Meeting

Don't miss the 2017 ASCRS Annual Scientific and Tripartite Meeting, June 10 - 14 in Seattle, WA. This year's meeting is also a Tripartite Meeting, which provides you with the opportunity to meet and learn from distinguished colorectal surgeons from around the world.

2017 ASCRS Awards

ASCRS Awards represent the best scientific presentations at the Annual Meeting. The Awards Committee is charged with evaluating all of the scientific presentations for scientific merit, study design, conclusions, timeliness, and clarity of presentation. Committee members meet daily during the Annual Meeting and attend all scientific and poster sessions to evaluate each presentation. Congratulations to the recipients of the 2017 ASCRS Awards!

2017 ASCRS Social Media Scavenger Hunt

Dr. Jerome the Gnome is back! After last year's success, we are inviting Dr. Jerome back for the 2017 social media scavenger hunt during the 2017 ASCRS Annual Meeting. It’s an exciting way to engage with your fellow colleagues, and compete to win a $100 gift card!

Dr. Jerome will make his way around the convention center, so be sure to keep an eye out for him.

Each participant must complete five of the seven tasks by posting completed photos to Twitter with the hashtags #ASCRShunt and #ASCRS2017. After you’ve completed your five tasks, check them off the list and print your name, email and phone number on the flyer you will receive at the Annual Meeting. Then hand in the flyer to the ASCRS Registration Desk.

2018 Abstracts Submission Deadline Nov. 27

Take the opportunity to submit abstracts of original research for the 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting, scheduled for May 19 – 23, 2018 in Nashville, TN.

Abstracts submitted for the ASCRS Annual Meeting are peer-reviewed and scored on scientific merit, originality and relevance to the field of colorectal surgery. The Program Committee is looking for abstracts for the following categories:

  • Basic Science
  • Benign Disease
  • Case Study
  • Education
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Neoplastic Disease
  • Outcomes
  • Pelvic Floor

Don't forget to submit an abstract for the New Technology submission!

This year, all case studies will be reviewed for e-poster presentations only.
