ASCRS Awards
The "best and brightest" are honored with awards at the Annual Meeting. The Awards Committee is charged with evaluating scientific presentations for scientific merit, study design, conclusions, timeliness, and clarity of presentation for ASCRS and Regional Society Awards. Committee members meet daily during the Annual Meeting and attend all scientific and abstract sessions to evaluate each presentation.
Awards for Diseases of the Colon and Rectum (DC&R) are selected by the DC&R. Research Foundation of the ASCRS awards acknowledge up-and-coming researchers and the leaders that significantly impact young researchers. The Young Researchers committee determines the Research Forum Works in Progress awardee annually as well as selecting the Mentor Award biannually.
